Steven
T. Miller - Director/Writer/Editor
R. Brad Murano - Director/D.P./Editor
The
Film Xero story began with the fortuitous meeting of Steve Miller
and Brad Murano at a master film workshop in 1984. Under the tutelage
of multi-Academy-Award-winning director Robert Wise, the brazen
young filmmakers hatched a plan to realize their passion for crafting
the moving image. This early work resulted in a well-crafted 35mm
teaser trailer and a screenplay (which was awarded the Gold Award
at the Houston International Film Festival). The duo even convinced
George Lucas' Skywalker Sound to allow them to do the teaser's final
sound mix at their well-shrouded Marin County facility!
Developing
a niche in the music video world (they enjoyed the level of creative
input, challenges, and fascinating personalities) they had soon
completed well over 100 clips, representing every major record label
from coast to coast and artists as divergent as Pat Benatar and
Clint Black. They were asked to oversee the final completion and
installation of all 24 film exhibits at the Rock & Roll Hall
of Fame + Museum in Cleveland with less than two months notice (but
what a concert)!
Most
recently, this collaboration has widened to include work involving
well known advertising agencies as The Richards Group, McCann-Erickson,
Integer, and J. Walter Thompson for clients including TXU, Pier
1 Imports, Nokia, ColorTyme and Ford.
With
their wealth of production experience and multi-faceted talents,
Brad and Steve bring a creative depth to projects - of any scale
- that demand the utmost in client and consumer satisfaction.
